My goodness that crazy girl! Sister Lydia has run off with the officer Mr. Wickham! This has certainly been a surprise to the family. If only Elizabeth were here, she would know what to do in this time of distress, I do hope the letter sent to her containing the news of our sister does not put her into too much of a frenzy. It is now my time to take my position of woman of the household. Mama is indisposed in her bedroom with hysteria and papa has gone to London to see if he could find any information on Lydia.
I do hope we find out what is going on… It would be nice to have the family back in order and all together again…
The news of Lydia and Mr. Wickham becoming a couple has me thinking about dear Mr. Bingley again…
As soon as I got my mind off of Mr. Bingley, he came to my house! To my surprise he wanted to talk to me. My mother and sisters left the drawing room and just as I was about to give up on him, he asked the most important girl could answer in her life time... He asked for my hand in marriage! Oh all my dreams immediately came true! I have not stopped smiling ever since. To be lucky enough to be called Mrs. Bingley and enjoy a long happy life with the man I love is the only thing I asked for in life and I am happy to say I have finally received it. Now I can live the rest of my life along side Mr. Bingley, with people referring to me as Mrs. Bingley.
